Years ago, the human race had finally come to an end as the sea levels rose. With the surface now barren and desolate, two races known as Inklings and Octarians rose. As the land was divided between the two races, everything seemed fine, until the day the last of the land was to be divided. The Octarians wanted it all for themselves, but so did the Inklings. Unable to reach a compromise, they went to war, but their war was unlike the ones between humans. Battles of epic proportions, all for one goal: claiming your territory. Thus started the great turf war, where victory was determined by how much ink was placed in an area. However, the war began to look very dark for the Inklings, as the Octarians seemed to be well n their way to victory...
A young female Inkling named Squilivia dashed through the area, spraying her orange ink over the purple ink of the Octarians. Her trusty Splattershot hadn't failed her yet, and she hoped it stayed that way. After recliaiming the area she was in, she looked around, seeing splotches of orange and purple ink everywhere. It was quiet. Too quiet. With Splattershot at the ready, and a Splat Roller just in case, she advanced slowly, as they could be hiding in any of those purple spots.
Meanwhile, in another area, a figure stood alone. Wielding two Splash-o-matics, an inkbrush, six splat bombs, and a killer wail, the person looked around at the Inklings and Octarians he had defeated. "Heh, weak." He said to himself. He walked through the carnage, wondering when he'd find a true challenge. What made him so unique though, was the color ink he used. It was not like the traditional six colors typically used by the Inklings and Octarians. No, it was red ink. And it was deadly.
(The possible taboo I mentioned could be Squilivia and an Octarian falling in love, wanting the war to end and for things to go back to the way they were. As for the red ink user, he is indeed the last human, and is fighting both the Inklings and Octarians not just for revenge for his kind, but to one day revive the human race. Any suggestions are welcome though!)
