PostSubject: Re: World's Shattering [Open/Need a prince]   Yesterday at 6:50 pm

Talia looked out over the massive garden spread with her hands held loosely in front of her, her gloves making a faint rustling sound as her hands tightened. "The drow, the dark elf people, were effectively nurtured following the partial banishment of the Spider Queen. Many survived gods from many different pantheon gathered together and performed a grand seal on the ancient Goddess, sealing her and her children away." She closed her eyes with a faint sigh. "The matriarcal society had grown strong, too strong. The Goddess readied her people for war, but...." She trailed off, finding herself wondering if his parents even knew. "The sitting monarch of this country raised a holy war, and defeated her forces, which allowed the gods to lock her away. A human male, low in the Spider Queens eyes not only for being a male but also for being a non magic wielding mortal. A thousand years have passed, and still the crow are looked upon with suspicion." Trailing off, she gathered up the hem of her dress and walked down the steps leading to the garden. Pulling off her gloves, she tucked them neatly into the hanging belt of her dress and let the tips of her fingers run over the roses that lined the pathway. As she did, the dark red roses bloomed out a little, seeming to turn towards the path of her fingers as they passed them.

Aslan found himself confused, his great cat not sure if it should be happy of this fiery incidence, or angry that she was not listening to them... disobeying them. "You are making you and any child of your look like the old ones... These impulses must be reigned in...." His eyes flickered to normal before turning into hard golden jewels, a deep growl coming from him when he felt the lashes against his body, causing his skin to permanently take on his tiger's pattern. "Not matter how, they must be reigned in." Dark red energy lifted off of his body and whipped out, grabbing the black energy of her own and yanking hard, pulling her towards him. "You want a fight, woman? You will get one." He said suddenly in a deep, powerful tone, eyes flashing.

The young adult dark elf mage prince still remaining in a emotional state where one is beside himself, fought to contain his own true feels. Of anger towards his own mother, with it, the embarrassment to find his household insulting the royal host. However to no avail it is transparent among Talia's father the king and herself, which made Kyla even worse before finding the kings passionate compassion. “Forgive me your majesty, but you are too kind. This is a grate insult among my people, thus therefore my mother should have shown you and I a better regards as a physical representation to the slandered.” Taking a stand from the seat, Kyla stood to bow to the king and his daughter in expression of his most sincere apologies. Even though the king didn't view him in anything less in shamefulness. Once the mood had settled, the prince felt to take up the kings offer to be shown around at Talia's guidance into the grand garden. Feeling this would do him good, upon having the chance to get to know her better, “as you wish,” he responding after asking him to please follow her, as she led the way through the set of doors in the back right of the grand hall. “Beautiful,” uttering softly in sight of the beauty this garden held. A moment just being at awe, until the unpleasantness of his mother had been brought up in conversation. “She is... difficult, when it comes to controlling her carefree nature. She is my mother and I love her, but... her carelessness to others holds no bounds.” He admitted and opened to Talia. “She is after all a very proud woman. A powerful sorceress who came from the lines of powerful dark elf's who once believed the logic of orcs. Being, only the strongest males are allow to pass their gens with a powerful female. My mother holds herself to this belief, but unfortunately times have changed and now lineage and high social status matters more, and so... she hated being married to my father, to whom she finds weak and abhorrent. But that doses not excuse her behavior to you and your father.”

Far at a distance, between herself and with the captain of the guard, yet still Senlasa felt his power which she encourage to manifest. Her smile stretched passed the cheek bone as the bright pearl whites bared themselves, menacingly with the top and lower incisors clamped against each other. The back of her hair stood on ends. Goosebumps layered the skin in it's texture. Her body heated and tingled all over in grate excitement. “So you do know me, and so well my Aslan, I'm impressed. Therefore you know what I want which only you can fulfill, so won't you do me the pleasure?” Yet it seems Aslan was far from pleased with her, using forceful words in warning to not push the matter any further. Sadly it only further a desire to provoke. “So you want me to behave? Then make me behave with actions and not words.” The black aura surrounding her body grew immensely like a waiting beast longing to come out, "listen? Stop this foolishness before we cross that line of no return? Why? When I'm beginning to have fun. Even if I wanted to... I can't. You... you got me soooo stir up I can't hold back any longer.” The waves in her black aura lashed out ageist Aslan, like a lashing whip which would have cut a normal man in half. “Come my Aslan, make me feel good!”

Talia's father glanced towards his daughter, knowing her high empathic ability, and could see the tense anger settling her shoulders into a even line, she spine stiffening and casing her to sit straight up. "I know some courtesy rules of your people, and I just want you to know that neither I nor my daughter see you in any less of a light." Glancing up at the clock at the opposite side of the hall, he looked over towards his daughter and gave her a slight smile. "Talia, why don't you take our guest here for a tour of the great garden out back?" Talia blinked, snapping out of her haze of confused anger, and she took a moment to gather herself. "Yes, father." Standing to her feet, she gently brushed her hands against the sides of her dress and looked to the prince. "Please, follow me. The gardens out back were made by my mother."

Turning, she led the way through a set of doors in the back right of the grand hall, after walking down the southern hallway they emerged out into a beautiful sight. Stretching out as far as could be seen by their current positioning, was a massive garden arrayed out in front of them. "I take it your mother is always... difficult?" She asked him in a low tone, glancing at him with a faint smile.

- - - - -

Aslan felt a growl come up from deep within his chest, and his eyes narrowed as it escaping his slightly curled upper lip, eyes sharpening to be the burnished gold of his tiger. "I know who you are. I know of your reputation, and your current actions do not surprise me." An intense shudder ran down his spine as the pattern of his tiger colored his skin, showing that it was pushing hard at the boundaries of his control. "No matter who you are... You do not mess with the tiger." His voice turned gravely at the end, laced with power that pushed outwards. "I have no problem fighting a woman that does not behave." He felt his powers surge out fast before suddenly retracting, and they would find themselves standing in a massive room made entirely from massive obsidian. Fire licked his hands as let his power go. "You will listen. You will stop this foolishness before we cross that line of no return.

All that had transpired little to a moment ago. Kyla found himself under the emotional turmoil given in anger, due to his own mother's shameful actions. Common among the dark elves, a display of disrespect is often associated with one who walks out on their host, if it is not urgent matters. And yet then Senlasa foolish proceeded to not only disrespect the king and his daughter, moreover she placed her son and a much humiliating position. What can he say to excuse this Behavior? Kyla was at a lost words, that's left with no choice to keep to himself while taking a sip of the glass while leering a menacing look from the corner of his eye towards his mother. Even long before she went her way out into the garden.

Taking in the fresh air while stretching the arms outs above towards the heavens, basking in the Sun warmth. Senlasa responded with pleasant sign within a deep exhale. Glad to come from a situation she found utterly boring, to a more pleasant surrounding. And more so to find her eyes looking towards the one she desired to follow her out. "How it pleases me to find you here my dear Aslan. From The moment I saw you I wanted at least have a moment alone with you." Walking towards the male, her walk expressed match seductive intentions, with the hips swaying side-to-side. The color in her hues glow to a deep violet, and even the color and form of her dress turned to a black leather texture while the bus was free to expose a little cleavage. "Do you not know who I truly am? I am a proud sorceress who'd married for political gain. My husband is weak and quite despicable to look upon. For long. I have desired the one who is powerful enough to match me. That is a desire eye long have and can no longer hold back. I know you wish the same thing my dear Aslan, for I sense the beast within you, longing to come out. So why not do what feels natural? Fight me and claim your prize!"

Talia could feel two different magic energies talking back and forth to each other, one angry and irritated while the other was languid and testy. The princess wondered what was going on, but the energies disappeared as fast as they had appeared. She glanced at his mother as she said her desire to take a walk. The dynamic she witnessed between mother and son was one that intrigued her. What kind of person was his mother really, for Talia to feel the irritated and uneasiness coming from Kylak. I must remember to ask him about his mother. If she made Aslan uneasy, then I need to know more about her. She thought to herself before turning her attention to the prince, acting as if nothing was wrong. "Do not worry, Prince Kylak. Your mother will run into no problems within our walld. The Commander has the men quite well trained."

Aslan closed his eyes with an inaudible sigh, suppressing his tiger's feeling of irritation at the Queen's actions and attitude. Glancing to the hidden watch on his right wrist, he stepped up to the table and gave them a low bow. "I apologize Your Majesties, but I must return to my duties. I have men stationed outside the main doors if you need anything." Leaving out a side door, he wound his way through the palace to step out into the garden area that was just outside the main hall. "What in the name of the gods are you trying to pull, Your Majesty? This kind of behavior is unbecoming of a woman and mother of your station. I know that smell, I know what it does. You are a Queen. A married Queen."

In response to Talia's father (the king) wishes in doing so what he wills with the gift, in turn Kylak himself expressed gratitude none the less, even if he wish to not make use of it. “As you wish your Majesty, but please, I beg your pardon with the utmost respect, the intentions of this gift is with the highest regards. You see, among my kin... our ways... once an elders time is coming, we wish to extend their lives. Knowledge and wisdom is more precious to us then gold, therefore keeping the old alive much longer is our ways, to continue to teach others. I could become king in my own land, however I wish to have my father advising me, even pass my prime.” Though Kylak would hate to a gift and priced held grand among his people placed to remain locked away, but it is the kings wishes to do so, thus setting aside his feelings, even after having to see Aslan take it away. “How shameful,” Senlasa whispered in undertones away from being overheard, “you worked so hard to make it, but alas and quite shameful and a pity to see it locked away.” Softly she snickered but Kylak choice to ignore and place his attentions only with Talia and her father. Listening and hanging on to every word of the conversation, even with disagreements over concerns with the kings health. “I assure you Princess Talia, your father is in good health for his age. So I'm quite sure he'll be around to even see his grand children wed and live happily.” Saying this brought on a slight blush in his own words, in the inadvertent statement of himself and Talia having offspring's. So Kylak quickly kept quite and brought his glass to his lips. On the other hand, with Senlasa, she grew broad with the conversation, therefore the eyes turn back to Aslan from where he stood on guard. Smirking with a lick to her lips, her eyes gave a light glow as an invisible aura surround her body.

She felt his cat sent a sharp push of power straight at her, warning her that he was not going to put up with any foolishness. Sadly this only made her want to push back with the same force, slowing her rebellion as if to say I do what I want. “If you'll please forgive me, I need some air so do excuse me,” she said and stood up. “Mother, where do you think you're going,” Kylak whispered within an angry tone. “I'm board so let me go for a walk,” she replayed and went her way before he could stop her and make Senlasa stay. One more glances came over to Aslan with a evil grin, as she went her way down the hall to reach the outside into the open area. Hoping he'd follow.

Talia's father gave the prince a slight bow of the head, voicing his appreciation for such a gift. "The gift is very appreciated, but I will put it aside for now. My time is coming, and I would rather not extend it farther than any normal human should. I have come to terms with the end, but I will make sure it is well protected, should it need to be used by someone younger... more worthy." He said in a nice tone, raising the box over his left shoulder. Aslan walked up and took it without a word and returned to his post. Raising his left hand, a faint blue light appeared on his index finger, and he used this light to 'draw' a glyph over it. It flashed once, and the box disappeared. Glancing up, Aslan saw her looking at him, and his eyes instantly turning his golden color of his cat, and he sent a sharp push of power straight at her, warning her that he was not going to put up with any foolishness, not at this time.

Talia sighed lightly, reaching out and taking up her glass as one of the maids filled it, taking a light sip from it. "So says the man who insists on taking constant trips. That doesn't seem to be a person 'content with when they die." She said in a light, slightly annoyed tone and her father gave out an uneasy laugh. "You do have a point, dear Talia." He looked over to their guests, glad to take a lighter turn of conversation. "Our royal doctor is actually very well traveled. She showed our cooks how to make a couple of dishes from your home."

Finding comfort within the embrace of a warm relaxing bath, tends to calm the tension of a long journey over. After disrobing ones self and washed away the dirt and natural oils clinging to the exposed skin, Kylak submersed himself neck deep. For the body to soak in the nourishment that a warm bath gives mentally and physically. Senlasa did the same with the mindset mainly preoccupied with Aslan. Think of things which would lead to trouble and dreadful consequences, to no rationality or reasonable gain. Yet sadly her selfish urges overweight good judgment. Therefore taking up a dark vile she'd kept with her all this time, the seductress dark elf female placed a few drops in the bath water, setting in a aroma to attract a particular kind of beasts. One that is powerful to respond to the siren call, but to motive or reasoning? "I can hardly wait to see your true power, my Aslan. Never have I thought I find a new muse of all places. To my joy that this trip isn't going to be boring after all."

Making their way into the Grand Dining Hall, Kylak and Senlasa in a company with their bodyguards humbly appeared before their Majesty host the king. Presenting a gift, carried inside a small silver box, a gold magical medallion made from flawless gemstones and diamonds is kept safe within its confines. "A gift to you your majesty, wearing this medallion will extend your life a little a hundred years. This is a secret item among my kin, so please take To commemorate our kingdoms union." Have two words with a simple head gesture, Kylak excused his bodyguards as they went their way, feeling as though they weren't necessary considering how he wish to show the king and princess his trust to that extent. Joining them they took a seat at their arranged seats at the dinner table. Kylak look to the princess and smile while Senlasa glance a few times towards Aslan.

Aslan let out an annoyed sound as he and the Princess left the kitchen, and Talia tensed slightly as she saw the pattern of a tiger raise to color the surface of the commander's skin before it disappeared as he reeled the beast back under control. "Commander... are you alright?" Aslan looked at her and she sighed lightly as his eyes were the color of his cat's, showing that it was still there, watching. "The wedding needs to get here sooner." He growled, starting forward as he escorted the Princess to her father's office rooms. "That woman is infuriating. I... don't like her here. She will create problems before too long." Talia smiled faintly, her head tilted to the right as she looked up at him as they reached the office door, hearing her father speak from behind the door that he was coming. "Surely you are just exaggerating, Commnder. You will see. Everything will be fine."

In the Grand Dining hall, the table was laid out with many foods from across the country, and even a few dishes and desserts were from the Queen and prince's own country. The king was seated at his spot, Aslan standing off in a darkened corner, his position every night that the royal family deigned to eat in the Hall. The table had been extended down the length of the hall in order to accommodate the guests for the dinner later that night, but right now, it was only the king and Talia that were seated near the head of the table, awaiting the arrival of their royal guests, who were being brought to the Hall by one of the maids.

The outreaching hand served more the a mere purpose, allowing Aslan to help Senlasa dismount as would any gentlemen whod show humility, honor, a class. But the works is to gain contact with hands, in order to read the power in his aura. “Ahh such power.... overwhelming power, raging to be unleashed. Ohh this man is making me want to run wild at the risk of causing an upset, but he's making my body scream like a desperate howling demon. How long can I hold back?” All in thought to herself she worded, all the while Senlasa came off her horse and upon the souls of her feel along the ground with Aslan's help. Still her evil grin remain on the lips with the gazes kept the male captain, which Kylak noticed, thus brought a killing look in his own eyes towards his own mother, if to express in words without being said; “best control yourself, for if you'll embarrass us... no... our kingdom with your foolish selfishness, I'll see to it father will have your head placed on his wall.” In turn the mother only smiled at her son smugly before their eyes turn away from one another.

Once again taking attention to give back his undivided attention with Talia, Kylak listened as they all carried on through the grand hall, at the first notice of decoration colored the surfaces, as if a celebration is to take place. “How wonderful it must be to have a festival in honor of ones accomplishments,” he replied trying not to sound even to the slightest somewhat envious or jealous. Since commemorating in celebration to praise ones achievement is unheard of in Ilyam. Kylak made great strives and pushed his limits to do well, wheedling magic to display extraordinary works, even rising high in his class, yet there is no acknowledgment nor praise. “I'm quite sure the next lieutenants worked hard to earn their place, and if I may, I'd be honored to personal express my congratulations to them on the festival day.”

Arriving at the foot edge of the hallway, both Kylak and Senlasa were to tend to themselves, afterwards once Talia informed them where the baths are and which were for the men and women's use. He bow within the same as Talia, saying nothing further and head right away to the bath. Kylak came to the men's room and striped without noticing his mother had followed. “What are you doing here? Go to the women's bath,” he order firmly, “I bathed you as a child so why the embarrassment, even to see you in your natural form,” she said in turn and more so after. “I will leave you on your own but I want a moment to talk. That girl... you like her don't you? He never seen a human girl and hard have you see women of our kin. I can smell your blood flowing which flows with your lust. She is soon to be your wife so why not have her to explore the joys and pleasures of women?” A black aura resonated from his gray skin, urging Senlasa to mind her words if she wishes not to further anger her son. “And what of you mother,” he ask in a firm deep tone, “That man, the captain of the of the guard, Aslan? I can smell your lust for him, to fight him and to have your way. I know your marriage with father holds love lost but your still married none the less. Furthermore... think about what it will do to our good relations with this kingdom.” Nothing was said further from the mother. Instead she went her way into the bath on the women's side, with the both of them bathing to wash up.

Aslan watched her carefully, power pressing hard underneath his skin, just itching for a fight, but he pushed it away, banishing the feeling with irritation at the animal that hid deep within. The treatments were working, as using his magic didn't reduce him to a weakened state like it used to. Railey would be a woman he would forever curse in his dreams, for the evil things she did. Power machinations behind his back, threatening the crown and her people for power's seductive draw, and putting a curse on him that made him allergic to his own damn magic. Taking the Queens offered hand, he helped her down off of her horse and turned to one of his lieutenants. "Guide the Majesties' horses and the rest of their group to the stables. This way, if you would." Aslan said after releasing the Queens hand, ignoring his inner beast's protest.

Talia walked slightly behind and to the Commander's back as they entered the grand hall that cut straight through the middle of the palace. The place was expertly decked out in the crown's colors, a slightly dark gold and red, with tasteful accents of color to break the monotony. "You have chosen to arrive on a very interesting day for the people. Starting tomorrow, we are having a three day festival to chose new lieutenants for the army. We only require five years of service from our lieutenants, so every five years, we give the men a chance to rise to the vacant spots on these days. Current lieutenants can keep their positions for another five years if they so choose, by entering the tournament once again. Tonight will be an open palace feast for the participants and their families tonight, and the festival starts at noon tomorrow." Talia said in her best official voice.

Coming to the first open hall on their left, princess and commander stopped, and Talia looked towards her guests. "At the end of this hall are our bathing houses, men to the left and women to the right. At the back of the bathhouse are small, private rooms for royal use and these are the ones ready for you. A maid will bring the queen's things needed to her, another will bring the prince's things. Enjoy your baths." Talia gave her best bow, watching Asian as the man gave a bow as well, and she noticed that his gaze still hadn't left the Queen. Odd.... "Come, Commander. Let us check on lunch." "Yes, Your Highness." The two then soon disappeared off to their own destinations.

Kylak's mother the Queen smiled evilly in amusement, over male captain of the guard mannerism and approach towards the situation. Evermore how the horse reacted with Aslan snorting and jerked back, “quite amusing,” she said out loud, “Movark (the horse) is not easily startled, hmm... he must scene your power which to cause his nervousness.” At the offer to dismount, in order to freshen up in the arranged guest quarters, the queen extended her right hand to Aslan with a light seductive leer and lick to her lips of the devilish grin. As would a gentlemen help a lady to dismount from their horse, once she offer her hand out, “you may call me Senlasa my handsome guard.” At that Kylak looked to his mother (Senlasa) cutting his eyes and whispered; “stop it, must you always flirt like some low paying whore?” In turn she said in whisper; “I can't help it. Tall, handsome, and powerful. This Aslan is making my body scream with desire!” Turn his attentions back to Talia, the dark elf prince stood back up, after her words telling him the need not to bow before her, “my apologies, where I come from humble respect coming to another's land should be display. I thank you for the warm welcome and indeed yes I'd liked to have a bath. As for your father it saddens me to not have the honor to meet with him face to face, but I understand he has matter of the utmost important to attend to, so his apologies isn't needed in this regards. Please lead on so my mother and I can clean up properly to join you for lunch.”

Aslan walked up, approaching the prince and Queen's horse. The prince's horse snorted and jerked backwards, but Aslan raised his hand, and the horse dropped back down onto his hooves. Aslan shook his head with a slight sigh, looking at the horse, absently petting the nose of the Queen's horse who was insessantly bumping it against his arm. "You are a nervous one. Funny. You take teleportation so easily, and yet you balk at someone who stands just as tall as you." Talia watched him as he turned and looked at the Queen. "Your Majesty, would you like to dismount? Your rooms are ready, fully furnished, and we even have a hot bath waiting for all of you." Talia turned her attention back to Kylak. "Rise, Prince Kylak. We are of equal standing, and there is no need for bowing. Garren should have a lunch ready by the time you and yours get settled in for your visit. My father is in a meeting with the Council, and sends his apologies for not being here to greet you and your mother upon arrival."

Thankfully someone of higher authority arrived at a pivotal moment, in calming the uproar before the likely outcome of needless blood shed the grounds in red. Therefore Kylak felt never more grateful towards the Commander of the guard, and would have first responded to Aslan with the utmost humble and dignify gesture to bow. Yet he found the Commander doing so firstly, and so all Kylak was left in response are thankful words, “Please, do not feel as though you need to apologize. I myself caused the disturbance to alarm your men and they were act how I'd expected. In truth their actions should be commend, showing devotion to protect their kingdom.” This he did also to speak before his mother had any words, since she lacks a diplomatic approach due to her smug arrogance.

Turn of the scene when the princess made an appearance, for a moment the dark elf princes found himself at awe as his golden hues widen ever so slightly. Giving a soft expression rarely seen. After her given sweeping bow, Kylak approached but kept a comfortable distance to not alarm with a arm crossing his chest, as his knee took to kneeling before her. “I'm grateful for the warm welcome despite the uproar at my fault. I am Prince Kylak of Ilyam, and I do hope our meeting can come to a further peaceful relationship with your kingdom to mine.

The men standing directly in front of him parted, as their commander walked through them. Standing at an impressive seven feet tall, Commander Aslan was a man of royal blood himself, having chosen to abdicate in favor of his uncle when he was only ten years old. Ever since, he had dedicated his life to being a man of honor, eventually joining the ranks of the country's holy knights. "Do as he says men. Scotel, you need to hone your magic better. You need to start up lessons with Cleo starting tonight. This could have been avoided, had you told me who was coming."

Turning to face the prince and his mother, he went down on one knee, crossing an arm over his chest, bowing his head in reverent respect for the Queen. "I apologize for the rather strong reception that you and your son received." Hearing the men start to chatter behind him, he stood to his feet and turned sideways, sweeping an arm out as Talia walked through the crowd. She stopped beside Aslan, hiding her feeling of intense uneasiness as she gave a sweeping bow to the two of them. "Hello, Your Highness. Your Majesty. I am Talia, princess of the realm. I welcome you."

Midday, the hour between the morning and the afternoon, in-which the suns light aided casting shadow to point sighs of the hour. Even so, this imposes quite a concerning eventuality, upon one soul taking attention to this hour related in occurrence. “Late,” one muttered anxiously in silence, muffling to not be overheard. “Unacceptable, a man of my stature late, on this day of all days,” once again a male in his first year as an adult muttered mutely to the ear. Under the towering evergreens which overshadows the landscape of the vast wilderness, gives the gazing beholder a depicting illusion of a sea formed with trees, in a way it seems to go on forever. Therefore it seems as though there is no end to the sea of trees. Thus a call for concern to the one eagerly looking forward to find the foot end to this mass forest.

Kylak of Ilyam, the Dark Elf mage prince of Ilyam. One who finds himself on pilgrimage towards the neighboring kingdom of Aslan, under obligation and duty to his own kingdom. Ever since his 5-years-of-age, never his own life is his own to chose ones desired path. Due to the arranged marriage, betrothed to Aslan's princess. Despite this, all the same since innocent youth the young dark elf held absence in adolescent, when being raised to quickly mature. Always the obedient one, Kylak is beholding on to others. Never to have found himself in disagreements or disobedient among the head of the royal household, or those in authority to advise and teach him. Clearly his upbringing since birth, has refined the prince into the ideal image 16 years in the making. Leading up to this day where the prince is to marry the princess.

Following the guiding path, made up of hard paved stone, a small caravan on horse back followed in single file throughout the forest deeps. Identified as royal guardians in the highest order. Them in accompany to the dark elf prince, also, along side Kylak on this journey, his mother Ilyam's Queen. Who took notice of her son's distress despite himself holding a calm demeanor in expression which fooled the guards. “Dear boy, why must you worry,” she asked him using a soft tone voice that held cold emotions. “We're hours away from the desired destination, so why worry yourself over the time? Likely, we'll surely be there on time.” In turn to respond, Kylak worded softly but angrily; “why must you had insisted upon taking the long path, through this endless wooden labyrinth? By now, if at my wishes to take the main road, we would have arrived.” The words of the prince brought a mother smirk, smirking evilly with the head slowly shaking to express disappointment. “Dear boy, how disappointing you make your poor mother feel at the heart. How I thought you'd be better then this. Have you not learn well from me? How utterly disappointing!” The conversion brought the prince to a understanding behind his mothers words, notice in a slight widening of the eyes. “Must you always doubt me mother? Must I always have to prove my power to you? Very well...”

Evilly her smile widen out, stretching further pass cheek length over the sight of her son, fooled into heed her desires. He'd signaling the guards men to halt before taking the lead in front of the convoy, while an arm extended forward, proceeding to draw a line into the air overhead and downwards at the ground. At this, the line became visible in the air, without a solid canvas while widening outwards on the horizon perspective like the shape of an eyelid opening. In the making a castle image presented itself, being Aslan's kingdom, which Kylak created a door way through his magic. A portal linking two areas far from one another. The dark elf made no further reply nor looked at his mother, but merely glanced at her from the corner of his eye while ordering the men to carry onward through the gateway. With a little uproar for those on the other side, beholding a tear in the air as men walked through. The scare likely brought Aslan's knights to mount themselves around the gate, with swards and spears. Responding, the guards protecting Kylak and the queen unsheathe their blades, but thankfully before blood is first drawn the prince took the lead to offer peaceful words. “Please withdraw your arms, I'm expected here. I am Prince Kylak of Ilyam. At your kings request I was asked to make an appearance before your majesty.” Bowing like a respectable noblemen and not of a commoner he showed the knights humility, to calm the atmosphere. Long enough for the ones in their authority to intervene on his behalf.

Talia sighed as she slowly opened her eyes, looking at the canopy above her of the bed she was laying on. The sun was barely rising in the sky outside, and even though she knew that her day didn't need to start for another four hours, she couldn't make herself go back to sleep. Sitting up while rubbing her eyes, she slung off her covers and stood to her feet. He was coming today, the one she had never really met, but who she had apparently been promised to since she was a wee little two year old, and that was sixteen years ago. Padding over to her fireplace, she wrapped her long trailing sleeves over her arm and started up a fire. Sitting at her vanity next to the fire, Talia pulled out her hairbrush and started to brush her long, thick hair.

Hearing a knock at her door two hours later, she glanced up from the book that she had been reading for the past half hour to see her maids come in, two of them carrying the dress that she was to wear when then visiting prince and his retinue arrived later that afternoon. As they dressed her up after her light breakfast, Avaline, her senior most maid noticed the far away look in the princess' eyes, and she smiled sadly. "Worrying about the prince's arrival, Lady Talia? I'm sure they have a reason for never sending a painting." Talia looked at her with a faint smile. "Not at all." She muttered, letting out a low sigh.

There were ten kingdoms on the northern Continent of Aslan, and two of those kingdoms ran on two major parallels of lifestyle: her own country more focused on physical, scientific means of living, while the prince and lands were masters of magic and all it entailed. All the things she had learned over the past few months ran through her head as she sat on her chair under the canopy that had been set up in the front courtyard shortly after lunch. Her father was suspiciously absent, and Talia had the feeling that he was doing this on purpose. He had to be somewhere secret, to see how she could handle herself.

[Due to the magical nature of the prince's homeland, he can be any race]
